Early Career
My professional journey began in 1996 when I worked for an airport authority at the travel counter. This was my first experience with counter sales, and I enjoyed earning a decent income along with attractive incentives. However, after three years, I had to leave this contract job, leaving me jobless for almost six months.
During this challenging period, I was not prepared to pursue a career in sales, even though it was the only opportunity available. As call centers were emerging, I attended numerous interviews but faced rejection due to my accent. After a persistent job search of three to four months, I finally landed a sales position at Pages. Sales was never my first choice; it was simply the only option available to me at the time.
Professional Growth
In 2003, my career took a pivotal turn when I joined EMU Lines as a sales executive in the export department. This role reignited my passion for the logistics industry, and I quickly adapted to the complexities of export sales. Over the years, I immersed myself in various roles and responsibilities, each offering unique challenges and learning opportunities.
Leadership Evolution
By 2008, I embraced leadership roles, marking the beginning of my focus on strategic growth and achieving organizational goals. Through relentless effort and a commitment to excellence, I ascended to the position of Managing Director, where I now lead EMU Lines towards new horizons.
